One of the reasons we don’t start new things is because in the beginning we usually aren’t very good at them.
I don’t know about you, but I hate feeling incompetent. I hate struggling. I hate feeling lost.
When that happens I don’t take action.
As you prepare to start your own podcast it can feel overwhelming, which in turn can lead to a lack of action because you just want to get it right.
The good news is that in the beginning the only people who will be paying attention are the people who already love you.
I know that sounds counterintuitive but it is really the best thing that can happen to you and your podcast.
This week we talk about why it is a good thing to fail struggle in obscurity and how you can use that to your advantage to improve.
If you haven’t had the chance to download the guide Is Podcasting Right For You?, you should do it now. (It includes a complete list of all the software and hardware I use for this podcast.)
